Debating
Debating has grown into an important extension and enrichment program for students, providing challenging opportunities for students to develop clear thinking, analytical and public speaking skills. Each year now we have a Junior School in-class and inter-class competition involving all students at Year 7 & 8. From here students are offered the opportunity to join inter-school debating teams in a competition organised by the Debating Association of Victoria (DAV). We currently have 4 to 5 teams at inter-school level involving students from Year 8 to 11, who have been performing extremely well against both private and government schools in the competition.
