Student Representative Council

The student representative council (SRC) is a representative body for over 900 students. The primary function of the SRC is to represent students and their concerns at all year levels. The SRC is concerned with developing a more positive attitude and respect towards the school, by allowing students to become actively involved in fundraisers and various activities designed to improve school life.
The SRC is elected by the students from each tutor group and each year level. Then elections are held internally to determine the specific positions student will undertake during the year.

Overall, the SRC had a very successful year, student involvement was fantastic. Student’s attendance at meetings was excellent and their assistance was invaluable with the organisation and running of all the fundraisers. “ Support our own”, was the motto thought up, when planning fundraiser, this year the SRC have strived to build up a better SRC that helps both the community around us and the community within the school.
